- Name: Keith DelValle
- Position: Founder, CEO & Lead Researcher

Keith currently leads Otter Creek Foundation’s research program, overseeing the field research, data analysis, and laboratory testing behind our work on invasive species management — including our oral contraception and pathogen defense vaccine projects for feral hogs, and our newly launched work supporting TNR efforts for feral cats and dogs.
Keith is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Marine/Nuclear Engineering. He is a 100% Disabled Veteran, and retired Commissioned Officer, having served in combat and senior leadership roles. He is also a retired a senior Federal Government leader, a senior State Government staffer, and former executive of several corporations. He has served as a Program and Project Manager for over $2 Billion in successful projects, all completed on time and under budget. He has worked as a contractor supporting Lawrence Livermore Laboratories and Sandia National Laboratory for the Department of Energy, on projects for the Department of Defense, Department of State, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Transportation. He has worked at the National Security Agency, Defense Information Systems Agency, Joint Inter Agency Task Force South (JIATF-S) and many other critical infrastructure agencies and organizations.
Retired in North Florida and looking for his next mission, Keith and his wife Jane co-founded Otter Creek Foundation to seek solutions to help the neighborhood animals at Otter Creek. The pain and suffering the feral hogs experienced with brucellosis, and the ever preset risk of overpopulation, led him to research what was possible in the current market. With no solutions readily available, he set out to find one – or create one. Always a problem solver, he found he needed to learn about biogenetics, biochemistry, immunology and animal biology. In less than 13 months, he studied everything he could find, often working 20 hour days, reaching out to researchers world-wide, and eventually designed several novel oral vaccines and therapeutic delivery vectors. With five provisional patents filed, he continues to refine and design new and unique solutions for animal population control, pathogen defense and therapeutic delivery.
